The "V" Family - Wapato Park Family Photographer

Hey everybody! I'm changing up my blog by making the pictures the main focus. I'm still working on getting the sharpness to match the quality of the photos so please be patient with me. Let me know what you think by commenting. So now onto the real reason why you came... the pictures!

As promised this family is finally making their debut on the blog! You may recognize one of the sons from a previous session. We were originally scheduled to have our session at the University of Puget Sound campus but at the last minute we decided to switch to Wapato Park. I had never been to this popular park before so we got to explore together... and here's the final result of our "escapade" :)

I think this is my favorite of the day
Mom and Dad needed some updated portraits so of course I was all over that. I think its great when parents join in the photos but that's another rant for another day...
We also found this awesome trail which ended up being our final destination
Mom also mentioned that the two youngest boys hadn't had back-to-school pictures taken yet
To the "V" Family I hope I captured all the love and joy you display towards each other. It was an honor to photograph you guys. Until next time...

The "A" Kiddos - Pt. Defiance Children Photography

Today I get to showcase another beautiful family! Mom and Dad decided to stay behind the camera this session. But don't worry you'll see all them in a few weeks for their Christmas session. I can't wait for the Christmas season to get here, only a few more weeks... But without further adieu here's a snapshot into the lives of this beautiful family.
She was so full of laughter this afternoon...

All the kiddos together... This is their first outdoor picture of all four!

A little momma in the making...
Ha! I asked the little guy to give his sis a kiss and he just thought that was hilarious.

Don't think its possible for this crowd to take a picture that isn't amazing
Gotta love them cheeks...

Had to get some individual shots

This little guy is turning into a little man WAY too fast!

At the end the kiddos decided to have a mini leaf war.... Too many to put on the blog so I made a collage of some of my favorites...
This family loves to have fun and I'm grateful they let me join in this evening. There is never a dull moment with this crowd. Wish you the best and we'll see you in a few weeks...

Mr. R - Tacoma Waterfront Photography

I spend A LOT of time at Pt. Defiance. After a shoot last week I decided to explore around the area and I found this awesome spot by the waterfront. So when Mr. R and I began talking about his session I knew exactly where we had to go!

This seems to be everyone's favorite...
Then on our way to the docks we found this awesome rock formation
Then we arrived at the docks. These are my personal favorites
Can't pass up a reflection!

Found some more rocks on our way to the car

I am notorious for saying a session is done and as were walking back to the car I'll find another spot that we can't pass up :)
I am so glad I was able to help Mr. R create an awesome anniversary gift. The lady on the receiving end is a lucky lady to be blessed with someone so thoughtful. You would be surprised how many people (ladies and grandparents especially) love pictures as gifts. Christmas is around the corner *hint hint* so get those sessions in before we are all swept away in the tidal wave called the holiday season. Hope you see you soon!

A Rare Find - Tacoma Family Photography

As I was editing these pictures a certain scripture kept popping into my head. It was Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies." Well you can add Andre' Luis to the list of people who have found a virtuous woman. This lady is not only sweet and kind but she can also make AMAZING brownies. But behind each great woman is an equally great family who loves and supports her through thick and thin. I am truly blessed to have been asked to step behind the camera and capture their memories. So to start off here is the whole family

Three generations loving God and each other...

Quick location change... and we had the "privilege" of welcoming a few more guests...

Speechless...
I asked each of the boys to look at their grandmother and I asked her to pick her favorite :)
Grandma needed a quick break so we threw all three kiddos on the bench
Couldn't leave out the love birds!
The only request was a picture with all the ladies' hair down
I saved this one for last because I think it perfectly describes what we did for the majority of the session.
Thank you for giving me a night full of fun and good times. I wish you the best and hope to see you in front of my camera again in the future.
